• ACM-ICPC International Collegiate Programming Contest was founded by ACM Association thirty-six years ago, with the aim of improving group programming ability among students.

  • Also referred to as Programming Olympics, this contest is the oldest, largest and most prestigious programming contest in the world.

  • Shahid Beheshti University ACM  Group, the second student branch in Iran, holds various interior contests and is now amongst the active groups of the Faculty of Computer and Engineering Science, with more than 30 members.   

  • The group held the first national programming contest at the university in 2011-2012, which was chosen as the best scientific activity among all the scientific associations of the university.

  • ACM Programming Contests of the West Asia have been held in Tehran since 1999.

 Some Honors in the Four Recent Years:

  • First rank in the third national programming contest

  • Third rank (two times) in West Asian contests

  • First rank in Tehran contest

  • The Group attended ACM International Contest as one of three Iranian representatives in 2015.
