Pervasive computing enhances computer use by making many computers available throughout the physical environment, but making them effectively invisible to the user. The mission of this lab is to investigate applications and algorithms for this type of systems. The main focuses of attention of this lab are:

  • Smart environment
  • Pervasive healthcare systems
  • Social sensing systems
Current Place: Room 28, Research Labs Building
Colleagues: 2 PhD student and 6 MSc students
Some of the research Projects:
  • Human physical activity detection in sport games
  • Information accuracy assessment in social sensing systems
  • Community detection in social sensing systems
  • Social event detection
  • Social recommender system
  • Complex activity recognition in smart homes
  • Faulty sensor node detection
