5th Iranian Human Brain Mapping Congress

The 5th Iranian Human Brain Mapping Congress will be held with the attendance of some of the world's leading neuroscientists in Aboureihan Hall of Shahid Beheshti University (SBU) on Sep.29 to Oct 1, 2018.
Brain Mapping is an interdisciplinary science with contributions from disciplines such as medical science, computer science, psychology, mathematics and other related fields. It studies the nervous system and the brain using advanced technologies such as Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Optical Imaging, Positron Emission Tomography, Electroencephalography , Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, etc.
SBU, as the leader of this science in the country, annually holds this international congress in order to bring together domestic and international scientists and create space for improving the interaction and exchange of information and the use of advanced technologies for understanding the nervous system and related diseases. During its short life, this congress has attracted many Iranian elites inside and outside the country.
The audience include experts in neurology, neurosurgery, psychiatry, neuropathology, rehabilitation, neuroscientists, cognitive science, psychologists, medical engineers, physicists, and other related fields.
The 5th Iranian Brain Mapping Congress aims at providing an opportunity for international scientists to interact with each other and present their research results.  Prof. Alavi from the University of Pennsylvania, Prof. Thompson from the University of South California, Prof. Eickhoff from the University of Duesseldorf, Prof. Walter from the University of Tübingen, Prof. Yousefi from the University of Munich, Prof. Flemming and Prof. Vafaee from the University of Southern Denmark, Dr. Zokaei from the University of Oxford, etc. will give lecture in this congress.
Also, three workshops of EEG, Neuroimaging Meta-Analysis and functional and structural Magnetic Resonance Imaging will held with the help of international professors in order to improve the scientific and practical progress of domestic researchers in the field of brain mapping.
