​Ten innovation centers of SBU and the Research and Technology Fund of the university were inaugurated on Tuesday, December 29, 2020, in the presence of Dr. Sattari, the Iranian Vice President for Science and Technology, and Dr. Nasiri Ghidari, President of the University.

The innovation centers included the Innovation Center of the Faculty of Literature and Human Sciences, Innovation Center of ​​the Institute of Medical Science and Technology, Innovation Center of the Faculty of Theology and Religious Studies, Innovation Center of the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science, Innovation Center of the Faculty of Education and Psychology, Innovation Center of the Faculty of Earth Sciences, Innovation Center of the Faculty of Architecture and Urban planning and innovation center of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering.

Before the inauguration of the innovation centers of the faculties and research institutes, the Vice President for Science and Technology visited the thermal test laboratory (optical imaging systems), the accelerator center for the Laser and Plasma Research Institute, the essence extraction laboratory for the Medicinal Plants and Drugs Research Institute, the test loop for flowmeter calibration and the spectrometer project.

 

Dr. Sattari and the accompanying delegation then attended the construction site of the Innovation Tower of SBU and were informed about the construction process of this tower. They then attended the Innovation Center for Humanities and Social Sciences and met with researchers at the center.

The Vice President for Science and Technology also visited the Innovation Center of the Science and Technology Park and the achievements of the technology units and the Technology Exhibition of SBU.
