Professional Training Center of Shahid Beheshti University obtained four international standard certificates of Integrated Management System (IMS).
The center managed to obtain ISO: 9001, the standard for a quality management system, ISO:45001, the standard for an occupational health and safety (OH&S) management system, ISO:14001, the standard for an environmental management system and ISO:29993, the standard for learning services outside formal education.
ISO:29993 is essentially an international standard that provides the conditions for offering effective and quality training services by focusing on the needs of learners and beneficiaries of training through assessing the risks and finding the roots of non-compliance. It is worth noting that this standard does not limit the type of training provided and guides qualitatively the classic face-to-face and electronic training, combined training, on-the-job training (OJT) and short training.
In order to improve the integrated management system, especially the quality of educational services and e-learning, the Professional Training Center has been implementing international standards (ISO) and strictly complying with their requirements since 2013, and has always followed the principles of continuous improvement of processes, increasing organizational productivity, improving competitiveness, and maintaining excellence.
Under the special requirements of the four foregoing standards and based on the integrated management system policy, the center undertakes to hold audit review meetings and obtain yearly credit extension from the crediting institution (ESYD) and certifying institution (BQC) which are based in the European Union. It also performs continuous quality and effective activities including the modification and improvement of operational methods and software systems.
