Lenar Safin, rector of Kazan Federal University of Russia, at the head of a high-ranking delegation, visited Shahid Beheshti University (SBU) on Saturday, June 24, 2023.
Dr. Safin and the accompanying delegation met and talked with Dr. Aghamiri, president of SBU. In this meeting, there was a discussion and exchange of views about the expansion of joint cooperation, the deepening of scientific relations and the implementation of bilateral research projects.
According to the statement of Dr. Abtahi, vice president for research and technology of the university, some agreements were made regarding the development of joint cooperation in the fields of applied physics, petroleum and gas, and human sciences, and the establishment of a joint international scientific center was put on the agenda.
The delegation of Kazan University visited different departments of the university. On the sidelines of this visit, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between Dr. Sadri Nasab, director of the International Cooperation Center of the Ministry of Science and Lenar Safin, rector of Kazan Federal University of Russia.
Dmitry Tayurskiy, first vice-rector and vice-rector for research of Kazan University, Dr. Timirkhan Alishev, vice-rector for international affairs of Kazan University, and Dr. Vladislav Sudakov, Deputy Director for Innovation of the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies of Kazan University accompanied Lenar Safin in this meeting.
