26 - 30 April 2026

The 25th World Petroleum Energy Congress will be held in Saudi Arabia in April 2026, under the theme "Pathways to an energy future for all."

For the second time in the 90-year history of the World Petroleum Congress, and after the 2011 Congress in Doha, Qatar, this event will once again take place in the Middle East.

The key question at this congress is how the energy industry will transition to a future that provides appropriate responses to social, environmental, and economic challenges.

Leaders from the energy industry worldwide, including heads of state, ministers, CEOs, heads of international organizations, as well as engineers, academics, and members of the non-governmental community, will gather to familiarize themselves with the latest developments in policy-making, technology, research, and ideas aimed at further improving this industry.

In this regard, the planning committee of the 25th World Petroleum Energy Congress invites all professionals and researchers in this industry to submit abstracts of their proposed papers under the defined topics for review and evaluation by May 2, 2025 (12 Ordibehesht 1404), via the link below.

The National Iranian Oil Company, as the authority responsible for matters related to the World Petroleum Energy Council in the Islamic Republic of Iran, invites all active individuals and legal entities in the country's petroleum and energy technology and innovation ecosystem to submit papers related to the congress topics for evaluation.

The abstract submissions will be reviewed by the global planning committee, and if selected, the results will be notified to the authors by email by June 30, 2025 (9 Tir 1404).

It is worth mentioning that accepted participants will receive full access to the 5-day program, including technical, strategic, and exhibition areas.
