The Islamic World Science Citation (ISC) Institute has announced that 1,056 Iranian researchers have been recognized as part of the top one percent most-cited scholars globally in 2024. This recognition is based on essential scientific indicators across 22 main subject areas and 174 subfields.
Among these distinguished scholars are six faculty members from Shahid Beheshti University, including Professor Mostafa Pouramini from the Faculty of Chemistry and Petroleum Sciences, Professor Samad Nejadebrahimi from the Medicinal Plants and Drugs Research Institute, Professor Saeed Reza Kheradpisheh from the Faculty of Mathematical Sciences, Professor Masoud Tahmasian from the Institute of Medical Science and Technology, and Professor Mohsen Hamzeh, the SBU affiliated faculty member.
