• Quantitative estimation of land surface variables from remote sensing big data • Parameterization of land surface processes at large scale with parameters directly/indirectly accessible from space measurements • SAR and optical integration for the environmental modelling • Mapping biophysical characterizations of vegetation using satellite and aerial imagery • Linking remotely sensed products to hazard monitoring and management
