Shahid Beheshti University signed a cooperation agreement with the Higher School of Economics (HSE), one of Russia's leading comprehensive universities in Moscow.
This agreement was signed on the sidelines of a meeting between Dr. Seyed Mahmoud Reza Aghamiri, the president of Shahid Beheshti University, and the head of the BRICS Expert Council. The agreement was signed by Dr. Abtahi, the university president's deputy for international affairs and director of scientific and international cooperation, and Victoria Panova, vice president for international affairs at the National Research University Higher School of Economics in Russia.
The agreement includes conducting joint research projects, supporting faculty members in undertaking sabbaticals at either university, exchanging students and faculty at various academic levels, and organizing virtual courses.
