Heshmatollah Nourizadeh, a PhD student in Electrical Engineering at Shahid Beheshti University, has been honored with the 1404 Alborz Foundation Award (2025) in recognition of his outstanding academic and research achievements. He is among the 63 selected national elites to receive this prestigious award.

Nourizadeh's accomplishments include the publication of several books such as Optimal Design and Planning of Electric Power Distribution Networks, Smart Grids and Microgrids, and Efficient Operation of Power Systems. He has also authored over 30 scientific papers in national and international journals and conferences and has received more than 10 national and international awards.

It is worth noting that the 63rd edition of the Alborz Award ceremony was held on May 4, 2025, with the presence of Dr. Mohammad Reza Aref, First Vice President of Iran, and Dr. Hossein Afshin, Vice President for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy. The Alborz Award is the oldest and most prestigious scientific award in Iran, often referred to as the "Iranian Nobel Prize." Established in 1963 as an independent and non-governmental initiative, it has a 60-year history of honoring scientists, innovators, academics, and top seminary students across the country, and is organized annually by the Alborz Cultural Foundation.
