On Monday, October 7th, 2024, Professor Lorenzo Vigotti, a distinguished guest from the historic University of Bologna specializing in history and architecture, visited the Central Library, Documentation Centre, and Museum of Shahid Beheshti University. During his visit, Professor Vigotti explored various sections, including the museum, museum archive, library repository, and reference book hall. He was particularly impressed by the exquisite collection of old paintings, maps, manuscripts of the Holy Quran, lithographic books, and the Italian Encyclopedia housed in the Central Library's reference hall.
After his library tour, Professor Vigotti visited the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism, where he attended the exhibition titled "Thirty Years of Research and Creative Questions," showcasing the ongoing activities and achievements of the faculty's students. The visit concluded with Professor Vigotti participating in a class for architecture students, where he delivered a lecture on the history of Iranian architecture, enriching their academic experience with his insights and expertise.
