
Students from the Surveying Engineering program at the Faculty of Civil, Water and Environmental Engineering, Shahid Beheshti University, achieved third place in the 10th edition of the national GeoLeague competition. Additionally, the team of first-year Surveying Engineering students (Class of 2022) claimed first place in the GeoGames segment of the event.
The 10th National GeoLeague Student Competition was hosted by K. N. Toosi University of Technology and featured participation from 14 universities across the country. GeoLeague provides a platform for undergraduate students of Surveying Engineering to showcase and evaluate their technical knowledge, specialized skills, innovation, creativity, and teamwork.
In this national event, 24 three-member undergraduate teams competed in five core areas of surveying: terrestrial surveying, geodesy, remote sensing, photogrammetry, and geographic information systems (GIS). This edition of the competition also included a special segment titled GeoGames, designed to engage students in a dynamic and challenging environment.
