A group of international students from Shahid Beheshti University visited cultural and tourist sites in Tehran during the Nowruz holidays.
In line with promoting cultural exchange and introducing international students to Iran’s historical and cultural heritage, a special program was organized for international students to visit tourist attractions in Tehran during the Nowruz holidays.
This program, held on the 7th, 10th, and 12th of Farvardin 1404 (March–April 2025), included students from China, Venezuela, Lebanon, Syria, Afghanistan, and Iraq.
During these visits, students toured places such as the Islamic Revolution and Holy Defense Museum, Ab-o-Atash Park and Tabiat Bridge, Gonbad-e Mina Planetarium, Iran Mall tourism complex, Mellat Museum and Green Palace Museum in the Sa’dabad Complex, Darband recreational area, and Tajrish Bazaar.
The participating students expressed their satisfaction with the program and emphasized its positive impact on their understanding of Iranian culture and history.
These visits, organized by the university’s Office of International Scientific Cooperation in collaboration with the Student and Educational Affairs Departments, were a positive step toward strengthening cultural ties, introducing foreign students to Iran’s culture, historical sites, and social atmosphere, as well as providing an opportunity for interaction among students of different nationalities and enriching the academic experience of international students in Iran.
