The Department of Philosophy at Shahid Beheshti University invites researchers, academics, and scholars to submit original research papers for publication in a special issue of Shenakht (Cognition), entitled “Philosophy of Artificial Intelligence in the Twenty-First Century.”
According to the Public Relations Office of Shahid Beheshti University, the special issue aims to provide an academic platform for exploring the philosophical, ethical, and social dimensions of artificial intelligence. Suggested topics include, but are not limited to, machine mind and consciousness, the ethical and legal responsibilities of intelligent systems, and the impact of AI technologies on humanity, society, and the future of human life.
According to the call for papers, submissions must be written in English and prepared in a clear, rigorous academic style. Manuscripts, including references, should be between 6,000 and 8,000 words, with an abstract of 200 to 250 words.
Researchers and interested scholars are invited to submit their manuscripts no later than November 5, 2026 (14 Aban 1405) for consideration in this special issue.
