Saman Ahmadi, a staff member of Shahid Beheshti University’s Zirab Campus, won first place and the gold medal at the Asian Adult MMA Championship, hosted by Lebanon.
According to the Public Relations Office of Shahid Beheshti University, Ahmadi—son of the late national sports hero Mohammad Ahmadi—competed in one of the most challenging divisions of the tournament. Demonstrating a high level of technical skill, excellent physical readiness, and exemplary sportsmanship, he defeated his strong opponents over four days of intense competition to claim the top position in Asia.
This international achievement not only contributes to enhancing the standing of the country’s martial arts at the continental level, but also adds another distinguished honor to the sporting achievements of Shahid Beheshti University.
