In the 2026 edition of the QS World University Rankings by Subject, Shahid Beheshti University (SBU) has made a remarkable leap, advancing 100 places compared to 2025 and securing a global position of 750.
SBU’s upward trajectory began in 2023, when it was ranked in the 1001–1200 band. Since then, the university has experienced significant progress year after year, achieving a total improvement of 450 places over three years to reach the 750th rank in 2026.
