Two books published by the Shahid Beheshti University Press were recognized among the selected and commendable works at the 43rd Islamic Republic of Iran Book of the Year Award.
According to the Public Relations Office of Shahid Beheshti University, the closing ceremony of this edition was held in Bahman at Vahdat Hall, attended by President Masoud Pezeshkian, Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Seyyed Abbas Salehi, cultural officials and authorities, and a number of prominent figures from the fields of literature, culture, and academia.
In this edition, the book “Lighting Design in Architecture” authored by Dr. Zahra Sadat Zomorodian, Dr. Mohammad Tahsildoust, and Seyedeh Nastaran Seyed Shafavi, edited by Dr. Nahid Kazemzadeh Ganji (Shahid Beheshti University Press, 2024 edition [1403], 329 pages), as well as the book “Architectural Mentalities in Persian Writings in Eastern Iran during the Early Islamic Centuries” authored by Farzad Zerrehdaran (Shiraze Ketab Publishing and Research in cooperation with Shahid Beheshti University, 2024 edition [1403], 281 pages), were recognized as commendable works.
