Three faculty members from Shahid Beheshti University have been recognized by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology in 2024 as outstanding individuals in the field of collaboration with society and industry.
Dr. Mohsen Ebrahimi Moghaddam, Professor at the School of Computer Science and Engineering; Dr. Alireza Ghasempour, Professor at the Institute of Medicinal Plants and Raw Materials; and Dr. Morteza Tahami Pour Zandi, Assistant Professor at the School of Economics and Political Science, were selected as top faculty members in collaboration with society and industry in 2024.
This recognition was based on criteria such as participation in national and regional programs and activities, implementation of demand-driven research contracts, delivering impactful outcomes to address national issues, collaboration with institutions and industries to enhance productivity and efficiency, and active roles in scientific networks and professional organizations. A total of 172 faculty members from universities, research institutes, and higher education centers across the country were named as top contributors in collaboration with society and industry, and their names have been recorded in the 2024 Yearbook.
It is worth noting that the "Yearbook of Distinguished Faculty Members in Collaboration with Society and Industry – 2024" was compiled and published by the Office of Societal and Industrial Engagement at the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology.
