In the latest ranking by the Islamic World Science Citation Center (ISC), Shahid Beheshti University has improved its position, securing the 4th place among comprehensive universities and the 5th place among all universities in the country.
The ISC ranking and evaluation included 115 public universities and 21 non-governmental universities across Iran. The research data used for the 2022–2023 ranking cycle (1402–1401 in the Iranian calendar) spans the period from 2020 to 2022. The questionnaire data, used for assessment, covers the period from 2020 to 2022 (1399–1401). Based on this evaluation, Shahid Beheshti University has been ranked 4th among comprehensive universities and 5th among all universities, including comprehensive, technical, medical, and others.
