The team of Shahid Beheshti University (SBU) won the first place in the 22nd student programming contest of the country.
The ICPC student programming team of the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering of SBU, consisting of Mohammad Reza Mohammadzadeh, Amirreza Mohseni and Milad Ansari, succeeded in winning the first place of the 22nd student programming contest of the country's universities, which was held on April 7, 2023, hosted by Amir Kabir University of Technology.
In this contest, which is considered one of the most important student programming contests in the country, more than 60 teams from different universities of the country competed. In this contest, University of Tehran and Sharif University of Technology stood in the second and third places, respectively.
The student programming team of the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering of SBU could stand among the top 100 universities out of 3,000 universities around the world in 2022 and received permission to participate in the world programming contest.
Since 2015 to 2019, the student programming team of SBU has obtained the permission to participate in the world programming contests consecutively among the top universities in the world, making it to be one of most proud teams of the country along with the teams of Sharif University of Technology and University of Tehran.
