Shahid Beheshti University (SBU) was ranked among the top universities of the world in Round University Ranking (RUR) 2023.
According to the report by RUR 2023, SBU was ranked 6th nationally and 457th globally.
In this ranking, 24 Iranian institutions are included in the list of top institutions. Tehran University of Medical Sciences with the global rank of 165th stands first among the Iranian universities in this list.
The first goal of this ranking system is to measure the performance of the world's top institutions based on four key areas (education, research, international diversity, and financial sustainability) and 20 indicators. In addition, university administrators can analyze and evaluate their situation, and students can choose more easily their target institution to continue their studies.
